The Simulation and Emergency Academy (SiNA) of the HELIOS Group in Krefeld is the largest regional simulation center in the Lower Rhine region. In addition to the training and further education of emergency physicians, clinically active physicians are also further educated (e.g. shock room training, stroke unit training). Furthermore, the SiNA is a state-recognized vocational school for emergency medical technicians and rescue paramedics and conducts recognized further education for (specialized) nursing staff and medical assistants. It is a certified training site of the American Heart Association (AHA) for all formats of resuscitation (ACLS, PALS, BLS) and trauma management (TraumaManagement, TraumaManagement Hospital).
The technical and personnel equipment meets the highest demands with simulation landscapes with modern audio-visual technology and full-scale simulators of the latest generation, as well as experts from all areas of clinical and preclinical medicine. Every year, more than 2,000 participants take part in the various course offerings over 250 days.
