Accidents and Injuries

We are available for the initial treatment and further treatment (including after external pre-treatment) of injuries and injury consequences.

Typical questions in this area are:

• Acute wound care (including burns, cuts, bruises, and bites)
• Fracture treatment (including diagnosis with ultrasound, plaster cast, X-ray control, and plaster removal)
• Removal of metal after surgical fracture treatment
• Further treatment after emergency treatment in the clinic
• Care for muscle strains, tendon irritation, etc. (especially in the context of sports injuries)
• Rehabilitation and sports rebuilding after injuries
• Hip and groin complaints

In the area of diagnostics, we use ultrasound in addition to careful clinical examination. In case of need, we have the possibility to accommodate our patients briefly for X-ray, CT, or MRI examination in the radiological practice of Prof. Uhlenbrock in our house or in the adjacent hospital.

We perform operations which do not need general or regional anesthesia mostly in our practice, all other interventions are carried out in the adjacent St. Joseph's Hospital by our staff and a very experienced pediatric anesthesiology team.
