Examination and care of children and adolescents requires the willingness to engage with young patients, to take time for building relationships and examination, empathy from the entire team, and understanding of fears and concerns.
We take the time for you—both for our young patients and for their parents.
Transparent practice organization with minimal waiting times, online appointment scheduling, and inquiries via email, WhatsApp, or encrypted through our website are just as self-evident as short-term follow-ups, video consultations, uploading of external findings, and co-evaluation.
Ultimately, careful examination is at the center of diagnosis and joint therapy planning. A child/youth-friendly examination and ultrasound examination are the most important elements. Thanks to ultrasound, we can minimize the use of X-rays, even for bone fractures, so that we do not have our own X-ray equipment. If necessary, we can rely on the modern digital X-ray facilities and the expertise of our colleagues at the adjacent radiological practice of Prof. Uhlenbrock and Partners.
Surgery also involves operating, but must it always be an operation? As pediatric surgeons, we say a clear NO. Of course, we operate gladly and that is our expertise. You can also entrust your child to us for a wide range of operations that can be performed on an outpatient basis. However, it is very important to us that we only operate when it is medically necessary and sensible.
