Children …

… have age- and character-dependent completely different demands and needs. But we are convinced that there is nothing more beautiful than a laughing child! And that's also nice to see during a doctor's visit.

Our core principles are

  • the encounter on eye level—and that starts literally with our children's staircase at the registration desk,
  • short waiting times in a sympathetic and child-friendly environment,
  • the focus of the treatment on the child (i.e. both in conversation the primary address is the child and only occasionally the conversation about the child, as well as the focus on the child's needs), and
  • the consideration of the importance of movement in the child's daily life—also after/before injuries and illnesses.

Whether they are as newly "baked" parents—especially surgical—with questions about their newborn (such as a dripping navel, finger attachments, a pronounced tongue tie, groin fractures, etc.), we look forward to their visit and are happy to support them in the first steps with their child. With increasing age, the children grow up and the questions become different, the disease patterns also. So, in newborns, it's often navel and groin fractures, testicular torsion, and questions about the foreskin in boys. In the toddler age, injuries gain importance.

Is your child a special person? Yes, of course. We also perceive it that way. But that also includes the need for security, clear statements, and the knowledge "what it is". The clear handling with our young patients is important to us. Does your child have special features, such as chronic illnesses (asthma, eczema, diabetes, short bowel syndrome, etc.) or special needs (e.g. in the autism spectrum)? We look forward to your child and the challenge. Please take a look at the page special children.
